Talk about climate change! From -5C to +25C in 5 hours! Cairo hasn't changed a bit - still chaotic, crazy - wild traffic - I love it! from Bucharest to Athens I was on a small prop plane - I feel safer on smaller planes. But then back on a 737 to Cairo. We passed over Alexandria - you could see the Nile stretching forever off into the distance. No, those are not pyramids in the photo - just an industrial area of some kind.
