It has been so nice to explore Cairo in warm sunshine. Even had a dentist visit this morning - got a terrible toothache 2 days before I left Canada - so I took some anti-biotics frm Mexico - pain went away - but I thought I would get it checked out any way. It was infection which is now gone - but I am going back for a cleaning today. The first visit and checkup was $15. I think today's cleaning will be $20. The folks in the photo are former colleagues from my old school. We were having lunch at CSA which is an expat club. I am going out to the pyramids early tomorrow morning - best for photos. Then tomorrow night , the overnight train to Aswan- they have had terrible flooding there 2 weeks ago. Next week, I leave for Kuwait.
